In today's fast-paced world, where stress, anxiety, and emotional distress have become commonplace, many individuals seek solace and healing through spiritual and communal practices. One such powerful practice is the Universal Healing Circle, a sacred space for individuals to come together in harmony, fostering holistic healing, love, and peace.
A Universal Healing Circle is a gathering of individuals who come together with the shared intention of healing—both personal and collective. Rooted in ancient traditions and modern spiritual practices, these circles harness the energy of collective consciousness, creating a powerful environment for transformation and well-being.
The essence of these circles lies in their inclusivity—welcoming people from all walks of life, regardless of their religious, cultural, or spiritual background. I was told that my particular healing circle was established in 1946 by Olga Worrall, an American healer, and it has met globally twice a day at one p.m and eight p.m. GMT. Each participant embraces the healing energy on the spiritual plane in the comfort of their own home. I have been a part of this circle since the mid-80s and, until nine or ten years ago, knowledge of this global Universal Healing Circle was strictly by word-of-mouth. As I am nearing the twilight of my life, I felt it was time to bring the Universal Healing Circle to your attention.
Healing circles can take many forms, including meditation, prayer, energy work (such as Reiki), sound healing, or simply holding space for one another. The essence of these circles lies in their inclusivity—welcoming people from all walks of life, regardless of their religious, cultural, or spiritual background.
Healing circles operate on the principle that healing energy is amplified in a group setting. When people join forces with pure intent, their energies merge, creating a field of positive vibrationsthat benefits everyone involved. This concept aligns with scientific studies on meditation and group intention, which show that collective mindfulness can reduce stress, promote emotional balance, and even contribute to global peace.

· Use a setting that is peaceful, whether indoors or out, to enhance healing energy and help you to focus
· It is not necessary to have lit candles, crystals, soft music etc. in order to engage the universal healing energy but it does create a specific environment that can help in setting up a peaceful and high-vibrational tone.
· Incorporate meditation or breathwork to elevate the energy of the circle.
· Begin and end with short meditation or prayer to focus on the individual you are adding to the circle and finish with an expression of gratitude for the shared experience
Universal Healing Circles are becoming a worldwide movement, with online and in-person gatherings forming across cultures and continents. Many organizations offer virtual healing circles, allowing people from different parts of the world to unite for a common purpose.
By participating in or creating a healing circle, you contribute to a global wave of healing, love, and compassion. The ripple effect of such gatherings extends far beyond the immediate group, impacting individuals, communities, and even the world at large.
In a world that often feels fragmented, Universal Healing Circles remind us of our shared humanity and interconnectedness. They serve as powerful reminders that healing is not just an individual journey but a collective experience—one where love, energy, and support flow freely among all participants.
If you have ever felt the call to heal or be healed, consider joining or creating a Universal Healing Circle. Together, we can cultivate a world of harmony, one circle at a time.
